Serves 1
Pasta 100g
Water
Salt
Fill the largest pan you have with water.
Salt the water (use the cheap stuff).
Bring to the boil.
Add pasta.
Bring back to the boil and boil for 1 minute.
Turn heat down and simmer until al dente (about 8 minutes).
Drain in sieve or colander.
Rinse under cold water.
Add to sauce.
A lot of people advocate a splash of olive in the water before you put the pasta in. I don’t think it’s necessary but also don’t have anything against it.
